SCISCO Career Pathways
SCISCO Career Pathways is a unique non-profit organisation operating throughout the Gold Coast. SCISCO assists Gold Coast youth aged 13-19 years by providing support and guidance in making a successful transition through school to achieve their career goals.
We do this through a range of programs and strong links with schools, the community and youth agencies across the Gold Coast region.
Our Vision
To enhance the educational and career opportunities for our young people
SCISCO Career Pathways was established in 1996 to create stronger links between schools and industry to improve the career opportunities of young people.
Since its inception, SCISCO has grown rapidly to provide a broad range of programs to its associated schools on the Gold Coast.
Young people are now able to access individualised support within their school through Youth Pathways, Local Community Partnerships, mentoring and school-based traineeships.
SCISCO Career Pathways is funded by the Australian Government Department of Education, Science and Training, Education Queensland and associated schools.
